Come to this midtown shop for a pre-aisle overhaul after a complimentary consultation. Cuts are $125; single-process color, $100; and highlights, $175 to $275. They also make house calls.

A Bridal Hair & Makeup Salon by Marina Vance NYC

This European-born stylist does hair and makeup for the bride and two others for $3,000, and assigns her team of trained stylists for the rest of the bridal party. (With any other stylist in the salon, it’s $175 for makeup and $175 for hair.)

Bumble and Bumble

A mecca for young models and A-list film stars, this favorite is big on catwalk-influenced cuts ($91 to $250). The stylists are more than happy to work with brides-to-be (ask for Stephanie or Nicole). Trials start at $150; wedding updos start at $300.

Cutler Salon

Rodney Cutler’s low-key salons—a favorite for highlights—offer a bridal package ($400), which includes a shampoo, blow-dry, styling, and makeup application. A consultation is included; a test-run costs $200. The unassuming salon delivers unpretentious but imaginative styles.

Cutting Image Salon

This cozy East Village salon provides Champagne and fresh baguettes from the French café next door. Parties of up to nine can rent out the entire salon by the hour, and bridal packages start at $100 per bridesmaid for wash, blowout, and updo, or $150 with makeup.

Devachan Salon & Departure Lounge

This mecca for curly-haired women boasts stylists who cut locks while they’re still dry. The staff prides itself on teaching its clientele how to respect their manes with a daily regimen of Devachon’s detergent-free “No Poo” products. Cuts start at $95.

Eva Scrivo Salon

Known for high-quality haircuts and coloring, the salon recommends a trial run three months before the wedding; the trial includes hair and makeup for each client (hair, $150 to $350; makeup, $125 to $225). The cost for the day-of appointment is $175 to $400 for hair and $175 for makeup.

Frédéric Fekkai

Visit Fekkai’s new salon at Henri Bendel and come away with the look that you will swear by. A consultation and styling will run about $150. For a treat, sign up for the Provence Escapade package: Beauté de Provence facial and massage, haircut, style, manicure, and makeup application ($325 per person).

This East-meets-West medi-spa specializes in science-based therapies that are more potent than typical treatments. The Bride-to-Be package ($250) includes customized facial, natural enzyme peel, medical pedicure, and either a body polish or a back facial.

Gil Ferrer Salon

Ladies who lunch love Ferrer’s posh, clubby salon for stylish cuts and high-tech treatments. Besides getting an updo (from $250), brides can bring in their bridesmaids and sip wine while having makeup applied (from $125). Free consultations.

Hiro Haraguchi Salon

Despite its posh address, this salon is tastefully understated and feels like a well-kept secret. Bridal updos start at $200, makeup applications are $200, and the salon can be rented for “glamour” parties (price upon request). Penny James is the bridal stylist; for great color, ask for Zane.

John Barrett Salon

Following an afternoon of picking up last-minute items at Bergdorf, check in to this Brit-about-town’s cheery salon for an updo (from $250) or makeup (from $250). For $500 per hour, a stylist will come to your wedding venue. Consultation is included.

The John Sahag Workshop

Stylists continue the late Sahag’s work at this in-demand salon, specializing in clip-on hairpieces as an alternative to hair-damaging extensions. Prices start at $350 for the bride (trial runs are $200) and updos for the bridesmaids at $175.
