A Home Of Their Own
Denise Penny, an editorial assistant at New York, and boyfriend Bobby Weinert love it here.
Weinert, a business student at Fordham University, was the one to
discover Tudor City. He was drawn to the quiet, private feel of
the neighborhood. The apartment he now shares with Penny is actually
his second in Tudor City; for two years prior, he lived in a studio
apartment in the same building.
Penny fell for its "picturesque" charm. Its ambiance reminded her of her semester spent in Florence. With an influx of young singles, the air of a college campus co-exists with the more "eccentric vibe" of the older residents. "And everyone has a tiny dog," Penny says.
