The New York Look offers the wide variety of a department store without the dizzying midtown crowds. Name brands like Marc Jacobs and Donna Karan hang next to smaller boutique brands like Ya-Ya and Tracy Reese. For a casual touch, there are jeans galore by Earnest Sewn and Citizens for Humanity, among other labels, and plenty of soft T-shirts, leggings, Ella Moss tops, and Christopher Fischer cashmere sweaters suitable for a carefree weekend of brunches and shopping. Lacey dresses, sparkly cocktail frocks, and sophisticated Just Cavalli eveningwear are ably matched with Christian Lacroix heels. The Fifth Avenue location carries a few more couture names, like Galliano and Chloe, to accommodate midtown’s big-swinging working women.
