Profile
This is pretty much the only game in town when it comes to faithful renditions of Apulian regional dishes (Apulia is the heel of Italy's boot). The chef brings this rustic cuisine into sharp focus, and provides a welcome relief from typical Southern Italian red-sauce monotony. The garden is lovely in summer; ditto the fireplace in winter. The adjacent Enoteca I Trulli wine bar is great for a light bite and a glass of one of 500 Italian wine selections.
Prix-Fixe Weekly Market Menu
Lunch, three courses, $28; dinner, three courses, $75
Cavatelli (Apulian flour dumplings with broccoli rabe and roasted almonds), $19
